Why Cryo?
Cryo & EMS combines Cryolipolysis and EMS in each cooling plate and wand. This means that both technologies work together to slim and tone all treatment areas. And the best thing about this is that the cryolipolysis treatment is not reduced to a particular body area, but can be applied anywhere on your body! To top all of this off, everything we use has a flat surface. That’s right, no injections, no down time, no suction cups, and no pain!
How Does Cryo Work?
This unique non-invasive treatment uses a combination of electro and cryolipolysis. Cryolipolysis specifically targets fat cells and lowers their temperature to -5 degrees causing them to crystalize. Using cooling-grade technology, the cells are chilled to the point where the body's natural "apoptosis" processes are triggered, gradually collecting these damaged fat cells and eliminating them from the body. The remaining content of the fat cells is disposed of naturally through the body's lymphatic system. These results are proven permanent. Lose anywhere from 1/2 - 3 inches in circumference!
Put simply, Cryo works by heating up your fat cells to a warm temperature, we then immediately follow with a negative temperature. Now, there is a range of negative temperatures you can choose so that you are comfortable. Do not be afraid of the cold, it’s not that bad! After the negative temp, we then heat your fat cells back up, and this causes them to burst! Finally, your body will release your fat cells naturally through your lymphatic system. The scientific name for this is Apoptosis, the diagram below shows this process.
Cryo Shockwave
Cryo Shockwave is the latest and greatest in the industry. Cryo combined with Shockwave has been clinically proven to enhance the results of just Cryo alone by 33%. Shockwave is defined as a wave with a rapid increase of pressure within a short time period. We apply the shockwave before and after your Cryo & EMS treatment to break up the fat cells even more!
Shockwave can also be used on Chronic Pain. The influence of the shock waves causes the dissolution of calcium deposits and leads to better vascularization, causing release of the pain and inflammation. Truly amazing technology.
